Yemeni books printed between 1850 and 1950

The dataset consists of an XML file in TEI format derived from the public Zotero bibliography "Early prints of Yemeni works" (https://www.zotero.org/groups/4963950/early_prints_of_yemeni_works). In order to allow for more advanced analysis of the publication activity, the data contained in the file has been arranged in five lists. (1) A list of the persons who oversaw the publication of the printed works, either as authors of their own works, or as editors of works that originally were not published in print by their authors themselves (that is, authors who precede the era of print are not included, as they were not involved in the print publication of their works); a unique ID has been assigned to each of these persons. (2) A list of the names of the publishers, each of which has been assigned a unique ID. (3) A georeferenced list of the places publication. (4) A list of publication years. (5) A list containing all printed works with complete bibliographical information and linked to the IDs of persons, names of publishers, and the georeferenced places of publication.
