Description

The Petrifying Wealth project explores the building phenomenon in the Middle Ages (11th-13th century). After five years, the project's database has been nourished with all the cases of preserved buildings that have been documented for Spain (mainly religious and in the northern half of the country), and one case study from Italy, the town of Tivoli (Rome). The data provided in open access constitute the fundamental nucleus of the database, and we consider that they may become a very useful set for the development of future research on the same subject or related to medieval peninsular constructions.
